Great lobster roll. Cool location. Outdoor seating. Very expensive - but that’s also just what lobster rolls on the CT shore cost.
So simple and delicious. We'll be back!
Best lobster rolls in Connecticut!
By far, the best lobster rolls I have found in Connecticut. The rolls are brimming with sweet lobster meat, bathed in butter with a hint of lemon. Amazing.
Great little shack by the water. Lobster roll was just the way we like it. Warm with a little butter in a toasted roll. They also offer sweet sausage and peppers for those in the group that are not into seafood. The also have hot dogs for the kids. Whole lobsters available as well. Was there Memorial Day weekend so was busier than usual. Will definitely stop there when we are in the area again.
Fun, efficient with a crowd, great lobster rolls. One of a kind.
The lobster rolls are are unbelievable, clam chowder is by far the the best in the state, the staff and service are a 10. You have to go there you will not be disappointed puts a lot of places in main to shame. Bonaptete
Over priced....way over priced for what you get. Not the best menu...only good thing is the atmosphere.
This quirky place is not to be missed if you love lobster rolls!! The rolls are NOT a hot dog roll, but a lovely soft grinder/hogie/sub roll. Big pieces of fresh, perfectly cooked lobster drizzled with warmed butter. Can't wait to return!
Good lobster. Cheesy place, but the atmosphere fits its well. In a tent with heat lamps, 41 outside but toasty inside.
Worth the hour drive for a fresh lobster roll! Uncomplicated, fresh, great view while you eat!
After promising my lil guy for weeks we would take a road trip after this job was over ...the original plan was TX but that changed after coming across an article about the best lobster rolls. ..so CT it was here we come. And it was worth the trip...located right on long Island sound ...we arrived just before opening (11am) and had time to do a little walk about before dining on lobster rolls to die for plus the view...really fine staff
Our frends moved here from Cali a few years ago. We came to visit them and they brought us here as the Best Lobster Roll around and it is the best i have ever had. Great atmosphere BYOB...
Delicious lobster rolls! Good size as well
Thank God for summer, and lobster landing. One of Connecticut's best...
Open in December, and busy! The lobster was tasty and they have alternatives for kids and those who may be allergic. We drove 45 minutes with the hopes that they were open. We were not disappointed.
Best lobster roll hands down, light butter dressing, lightly toasted bun, PACKED with lobster, friendly service, fun location , we visit multiple times a year.
We ordered 15 rolls and had mixed reviews. A few thought fair, and a few very good, the rest in between. But it's fairly unique in this part of Connecticut with lots of outdoor seating. We sat at picnic tables with our feet and tables in the water during an especially high tide.
This is the best lobster roll that I’ve ever tried. It’s not over buttered or overcooked- It was absolutely perfect!! Outstanding service and delicious food. This place is a hidden gem. You can bring your own beer or wine and enjoy it with a delicious lobster roll while you’re sitting and seeing a beautiful ocean view. Bacci owner is extremely friendly and kind person. He brought very beautiful seashells for my kids. They were so happy and impressed. I’ll definitely come back. Thank you very much for your delicious food and amazing service
Rustic place..just go up to stand and order.. limited menu, all items are well done.
Good lobster rolls, made with toasted hot dog rolls, sweet lobster meat with butter and lemon. You can BYOB so that is a plus. Nice views. They accept cash and credit cards. Rolls could have been toasted less as they were kind of blackish. Would go back for more, note that you pay after eating.
Unique place that reminds you of old times on this area. Fresh food served in a very nice spot looking the water. The rolls are tasty and they broil the bread a bit adding more texture and flavor. The chowder is not the best, but is very good.Overall is a good place to spend time with the family. Will go back.
The best lobster roll I have ever had and bomb clam chowder. They do it right, no frills, and they don't screw up perfection.
Great spot. Food and costumer service. Definitely will repeat
Great lobster roll and vanilla bean ice cream!!! The girls were really nice and very polite! Loved it! 😍😍😍
This is a rustic gem that spells New England.. Very very casual. With an excellent staff serving up some serious Good eats.. Very unique setting.. It's like you are back in the 50's.. The people you meet will be about the best you can meet.. Sooo leave the tie home and relax overlooking beautiful Clinton Harbor.. Enjoy..🔤😀🐟🐡
Decided on this place after I googled some of the best lobster rolls in New England. I drove a little over an hour to get here & it was worth it. On the way I picked up some beer (BYOB). The lobster roll was $17.95, but wow it was amazing. You get 1/4 lb of lobster that's warm with lemon & butter on it. It was amazing, The chip bags are $1 which is totally normal. You pay when you're leaving, which is odd since you order before you sit down. They have porter potties, too. They have covered seating and also seating on a porch right over the water. There isn't a ton of parking but you can try & street park. 10/10 recommend.
Lovely little old world shack by the sea. Great lobster rolls. A bit of tight squeeze with seating though.
Quite possibly the best lobster roll in New England. Sweet lobster meat, light lemon juice bath, finished with warm butter on a toasted bun. The scenic view of the harbor adds to the maritime atmosphere.
Who woulda thought 3lb lobster would be $12/lb?? Absolutely amazed by the lively lobsters and friendly staffs.
The best!!! No lobster roll comes close
Great lobster roll, clam chowder and sausage sandwich. Great little place on the water.
There are two things on the menu... Hot buttered lobster rolls and sausage sandwiches. Unpretentious and laid back lobster landing does lobster rolls and they do it well. A New England roll toasted with butter and a generous 1/4lb helping of lobster meat. The owner is usually there and we've had a great experience every time.
Best lobster rolls I've ever had
Top notch rolls and chowder
The lobster roll were delicious just on the small side. We had to buy 2 each at $18.00 each it came out to be a little costly. I wish they made them bigger. but the flavor was on point!
This is our favorite lobster roll spot, delicious! Highly recommended
Lobster has a great test, very buttery taste. Sandwich itself just didn’t feel like enough though.
If you want to experience authentic New England flavor that is different from your normal lobster roll, hop in your car, truck, van, bike, skateboard or get your running shoes on and head over there... now. These are served warm with melted butter drizzled over the top on a home made roll. Not like your typical store-bought-hot-dog-roll-smothered-in-mayo imitators. *chefs kiss* Perfection.
Nice lobster roll but...the butter (not that tasty) soaked into the bun (not toasted enough) so that it became soggy. Had to ditch half of it. Lobster was overcooked and tough. The coleslaw was ok. Lovely location, nice service. It was a two hour drive from NYC. Won’t be doing it again.
Our favorite place to eat in our state. Simple menu, BYOB, they even let you bring side dishes! So pack up a picnic & head to lobster landing. The lobster roll is fabulous, but the other 2 items on the menu are also very tasty (hot dogs with optional kraut, onions, condiments or sausage, peppers & onions grinder). Reasonably priced. They also serve locally made gelato in little cups. Water, soda & chips available for purchase or bring your own wine & salads or cheese & crackers.
I celebrated my birthday this evening in this gorgeous place. I am glad to say that we had a tremendous evening and the place was unquestionably one of the reasons for that happy gathering. The stuff collaborated in a very nice manner, the cuisine was great and my friends were extremely cheerful. We shall absolutely return for more celebrations. Thank you very much.
Great Lobster Rolls and Hummel Hot Dogs!! Service was also excellent as was the Senior Discount!! Thank you!!😊
Been coming here for some time and now they have the best lobster rolls ever! Will forever be a customer love this place
The very best of lobster places!!!! Wednesday is senior day btw
Delicious lobster rolls, not a long wait, fair amount of iutside seating properly spaced out, staff actively cleaning tables immediately after someone leaves. Very impressed with the covid-19 operational changes. The lobster rolls are pricey, but hard to beat on quality and quantity you get for it. Well worth it.
I love their lobster rolls. Seriously delicious! You order and then go sit down and they’ll bring it to you. Then you pay at the end! So buttery and the lobster is cooked perfectly!!
The lobster rolls were very tasty. They could have had more meat and we really prefer cold lobster roll (they only sell hot). The chowder was terrific! The setting was just right ... being able to see boats while eating your lobster roll.
My number one pick for hot lobster rolls in CT
Not possible to oversell this place, the lobster rolls are the best I've ever had! Iconic, and lovely staff.
